Onsite Rates
Our rates for onsite repairs other than Server & Novell
networking is $55.00 per half hour onsite. There are
no travelling charges. All rates are GST inclusive. Below
are our charges and procedures relating these repairs.

Payment
We accept cash, cheque and all major credit cards. Visa,
American Express, Bankcard, Mastercard and Diners Club.
Our Service

PC Repairs
Most PC repairs are generally
from half an hour to 1 hour depending on the problem.
All PC repairs are charged at $55.00 per half hour except
for dedicated Windows Server software and Novell. The
first step is to diagnose the problem and our technician
will advise you from there what steps need to be taken.
The majority of problems people experience are software
problems and these are generally solved onsite. If you
have a hardware problem we will quote you on a solution
taking into account cost, quality and urgency
Apple Mac Service And Suppor
We service and support all Mac systems. The rate for
this service is $132 per hour
Networking
Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000 Pro & XP
Home & Pro are charged at $55.00 per half hour. Windows
NT, 2000 & 2003 Server are charged at $132.00 per
hour. We also have certified Novell engineers & we
work on all Novell networks. Rates shall be determined
per job brief.
Printers
Printer repairs are generally
from half an hour to one hour depending on the problem
and in some instances parts are required. In the majority
of cases a printer service will fix your problem. We
will advise to the correct course of action. Printer
repairs are charged at $66.00 per half hour for Inkjet
printers and $132.00 per hour for Laser printer repairs
and all multifunction units.
Monitors
We charge between $132 - $154
to fix most standard CRT monitor problems and $200 and
over for LCD screens depending on the size and fault.
We repair monitors offsite but leave you with a replacement
monitor whilst we are repairing yours. In the unusual
event that your monitor requires a replacement transformer
or the picture tube has gone or parts are not available
and the monitor cannot be repaired or is too expensive
to repair we charge $77.00 for diagnosis and can quote
you on a new compatible monitor.
Notebooks
We provide onsite service of all makes
and models of notebooks. Software problems can generally
be fixed on site, if we diagnose a notebook hardware
problem the notebook will need to be taken offsite for
diagnosis and repair. Notebooks are generally returned
within 2-3 days of service depending upon component availability.
The fee for off site diagnosis of a notebook hardware
problem is $165.
Upgrades
We can offer you the best advice when it comes to upgrading
or purchasing a new system. Upgrades can take between
1-1.5 hours depending on hardware to be installed and
configured and whether reformatting of HD and loading
of software is either requested or needed. Our
rates are $55.00 per half hour onsite.
Response Times
Mr Fixit Computers prides itself on 2-4 hour response
times. These response times can vary according to locality
or peak service times.
